Qualified for the NCAA Championships Preliminary Rounds in the 400-meter hurdles … placed second (51.51) in his specialty event at the Conference USA Championships and also was a member of the squad's bronze medal 1,600m relay (3:12.99) … ripped off a career-best 50.56, the fourth-best performance in program history, in the preliminary heats of the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays … went on the finish second and also was runner-up at the season-opening UTSA Invitational … ran on the team's third-place mile relay at the C-USA Indoor … also competed in the 60m hurdles and 400m during the indoor campaign.
Prior To UTSA
Spent the previous two seasons at California … ran top times of 14.44 (110m hurdles) and 50.86 (400m hurdles) … helped lead the Golden Bears to the 2014 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship … 2012 UIL Class 5A Champion in the 300-meter hurdles and third-place finisher in the 110m hurdles … also won a silver medal in the 110m hurdles and a bronze in the 300m hurdles as a junior … clocked personal bests of 14.00 (110m hurdles) and 36.46 (300m hurdles) … also a three-year letterwinner who earned all-state honors in football.
