Helped the Roadrunners to its highest ranking in program history (No. 32) and a final ranking of 44th in his first season at UTSA … ranked as high as No. 6 in ITA doubles coming out of the fall with partner Sebastian Rodriguez after winning a program-first ITA Texas Region Championship and advancing to the ITA National Quarterfinal in San Diego, Calif. … helping UTSA to its best record since 1985 (18-7) and the program’s first NCAA At-Large bid, finished the season at 14-7 in singles play and 12-8 on the doubles courts … named to the All-Conference USA Singles first team and Doubles second team, helping the Roadrunners to a 2023 C-USA Championships Runner-up finish … named C-USA Player of the Week (March 1) … finished the season ranked No. 27 (with Rodriguez) in the final ITA Doubles rankings, earning UTSA’s first post-season NCAA Doubles Championships entry and victory (def. Played one season at NJCAA National Champion Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas, ranking as high as No. 25 in ITA national singles after winning the NJCAA Division I Flight Four National Singles Championship and earning First Team All-American recognition … ranked as high as ITA No. 8 in doubles with partner Ryo Minakata, won the 2021 NJCAA Division I Flight Two National Doubles Championship and First Team All-America honors, going 12-1 as a tandem … participated in the ATP 250 tennis tournament in Los Cabos, Mexico and also claimed a spot on the top 130 International Tennis Federation … ranked as high as 120th in juniors, and was No. 1 in Mexico, 2017-19 … trained with ranked No.1 tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic and former professional tennis player, Janko Tipsarevic … came to UTSA with a career-high UTR of 12.95 … Attended McAllen, Texas Memorial High school, playing for Kareem Abdullah, earning a state doubles championship.
