Joseph Klein is in his second season as a graduate assistant with the men’s basketball program.
Klein came to the Roadrunners after serving as a student manager with Arizona during the 2018-19 and 2019-20 season.
He assists directly with the day-to-day management of the UTSA program, while helping with practice execution.
He is also working as a student intern with Coaches vs. Cancer, spearheading the 20 for 20 social-media challenge which raised over $100,000 for CancerWork directly with the American Cancer Society.
In addition, Klein is working as an intern with Coaching U and served as an assistant and video producer for NBA Trainer. While at Arizona, Klein served as a production assistant with the PAC12 Network, and functioned as a reporter and play-by-play broadcaster with UATV3/KAMP Radio, voicing UofA football and basketball games from 2017-19.
Klein has served as a volunteer with the Wish Connection since 2015, assisting with granting wishes to children suffering from with life-threatening illnesses or chronically debilitating medical conditions.
He was a UTSA honor society selection in 2022.
