Appeared in 31 games with six starts, including first collegiate start in hometown against Illinois-Chicago (Nov. 16) ... averaged 4.5 points and 1.8 rebounds, while shooting 40.0 percent from the floor ... shot 50.0 percent or better from the field in 11 games ... finished with a season-high 17 points at North Texas (Feb. 18) ... scored nine points at Oregon State (Nov. 13), in the win over Prairie View A&M (Nov. 19) and against No. 25 Middle Tennessee State in the C-USA Championship (March 9) ... also added a season-best six boards against the Panthers ... chipped in with eight points at WKU (Jan. 28).

Prior to UTSA
Three-year starter and letterwinner at De La Salle Institute in Chicago, Ill., for head coach Tom White … was a first-team All-Catholic League North selection and McDonald’s All-American nominee as a senior after he averaged 19.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.6 steals per game … also earned All-State Special Mention and second-team All-Area by the Chicago Tribune to go along with second-team All-City recognition from the Chicago Sun-Times … received votes for the Illinois Mr. Basketball award and helped lead the Meteors to a 22-8 record in his final campaign … early in his senior season he was named MVP of the St. Patrick Thanksgiving Tournament and was an all-tournament team pick following the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic … graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
