Stanley Borden Season 2025-26

Prior to UTSA
Coming to the Roadrunners in July, transfer center Stanley Borden was a member of the Duke Blue Devils roster for the past four seasons after arriving in Durham from Istanbul, Turkey. The last player still active to have played for Hall of Famer Mike Krzyzewski, Borden is a four-time Duke letterwinner. Borden also holds dual citizenship and played for the Portuguese U20 National Team during the 2021 FIBA European Group A Challenger, averaging 7.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals. During his high school years, he played two seasons for the Besiktas J.K. U18 team and helped Istanbul International Community School to its first CEESA (Central-Eastern European Schools Association) Division A Championship. He earned his undergraduate degree this spring at Duke in computer science with minors in computational biology and English, entering UTSA as a graduate transfer.
