Played in 12 contests and started three (vs. Arizona State/at Rice/vs. UTEP) … did not play at Old Dominion (Sept. 24) due to injury … collected 24 receptions for 271 yards (11.3 avg.) and three touchdowns … recorded a season-high five catches for 41 yards against Arizona State (Sept. 16) … racked up a season-best 50 receiving yards, including a 20-yard score, on three grabs in the regular season finale against Charlotte (Nov. 26) … other TD catches came in the season opener against Alabama State (Sept. 3) and at Louisiana Tech (Nov. 12) … added four receptions for 45 yards against North Texas (Oct. 29).

Played for head coach Gene Murphy at Hinds (Miss.) Community College … saw action in the first two games of his sophomore campaign before missing the rest of the year due to injury … had three receptions for 54 yards and two touchdowns that season … caught 30 passes for 433 yards and four scores as a freshman … former prep quarterback is a nephew of the late Steve McNair, who played quarterback in the National Football League from 1995-2006 after winning the 1994 Walter Payton Award (NCAA Division I-AA’s top player) and finishing third in the Heisman Trophy balloting.
