Freshman (2017)
Came off the bench in three contests during his true freshman season … completed 5-of-8 passes for 43 yards in the 51-17 rout of Southern (Sept. 16) … also saw action in the 44-14 victory over Texas State (Sept. 23) and in the FIU contest (Nov. 4) … graduated high school early and began attending classes at UTSA during the Spring 2017 semester.
Prior To UTSA
Earned second-team all-area and first-team All-District 28-6A Zone B honors as a senior … connected on 205-of-338 passes (60.7 percent) for 2,630 yards and 26 touchdowns and added another 147 yards and two scores on the ground that season … also played in the 2017 San Antonio All-Star Game … an honorable mention all-state and first-team All-District 27-6A Zone A selection as a junior … completed 236-of-385 throws (61.3 percent) for 3,411 yards and 30 TDs while adding another five scores on the ground in leading the team to a nine-win season … coached by Darryl Hemphill … also a two-time all-district performer in baseball.
