Senior (2017)
Semifinalist for the prestigious William V. Campbell Trophy, which recognizes an individual as the absolute best football scholar-athlete in the nation … named to the InTouch Credit Union Conference USA All-Academic Team … appeared in all 11 games with four starts … caught 26 passes for 325 yards and a pair of touchdowns … … tallied a career-high 75 receiving yards on three catches in the 44-14 win at Texas State (Sept. 23) … hauled in four passes for 57 yards and a TD in the 20-7 victory against Rice (Oct. 21) … also had four receptions in the 9-7 win against Marshall (Nov. 18) … had 65 receiving yards on three catches in the 51-17 triumph over Southern (Sept. 16) … caught a 12-yard touchdown pass at FIU (Nov. 4) … also the team’s top punt returner … returned 14 punt for 67 yards … had two returns for 34 yards, including a season-long 27-yarder in the 33-14 win at UTEP (Oct. 28) … netted a 13-yard return vs. UAB (Nov. 11).
Junior (2016)
Played in all 13 games and drew starts in four contests … third on the team with 26 receptions for 322 yards (12.4 avg.) and three touchdowns (at Colorado State/vs. UTEP/vs. Charlotte) … recorded a career-high 60 receiving yards against UTEP (Oct. 22) and registered a career-best three catches in six outings … had 51 yards on three receptions and also tossed an 8-yard TD at Old Dominion (Sept. 24) … earned a Conference USA Academic Medal (3.75 GPA) for the second consecutive season.
Sophomore (2015)
Appeared in the opening nine contests of the year before missing the final three with an injury … caught five passes for 52 yards (10.4 avg.) … hauled in two passes for 14 yards at #25 Oklahoma State … also had a 4-yard rush in the season opener at #22 Arizona … awarded a Conference USA Academic Medal (3.75 GPA).

Played quarterback, safety and punter at George West High School … earned 2012 All-South Texas honors and was tabbed the District 15-2A Division I co-Most Valuable Player as a senior … passed for 628 yards and five touchdowns and added 110 tackles and four interceptions during his junior campaign en route to District MVP accolades … coached by Tim Holt.

Born May 11, 1995 … son of Julie Hardwick and Randy Jones … he is the brother-in-law of former UTSA quarterback Eric Soza (2011-13) … graduated in December 2016 with a degree in finance and currently is pursuing a master’s of business administration.
