Saw action in the final six contests of the season after missing the first half of the season while recovering from an injury … registered six total tackles, five solo stops and one tackle for loss … posted three tackles, including one for a four-yard loss, against Florida Atlantic (Nov. 23) … made one solo stop in the 31-27 win over Rice (Oct. 19) … also recorded a tackle in the 24-23 victory at Old Dominion (Nov. 9) and against Southern Miss (Nov. 16).
Redshirt Sophomore (2018)
Played in six games with three starts at cornerback … finished with 11 tackles and three pass breakups … tallied three tackles and two pass breakups in the 20-3 triumph at Rice (Oct. 6) … had three stops in the season opener at Arizona State (Sept. 1) … notched four tackles, including one for loss, versus Baylor (Sept. 8) … broke up a pass in the 30-21 victory over UTEP (Sept. 29).

Freshman (2016)
Played in all 13 games and started eight tilts … racked up 25 tackles (10 solos/15 assists), five pass breakups and one interception in his inaugural campaign … had a season-high five stops in consecutive weeks against Arizona State (Sept. 16) and at Old Dominion (Sept. 24) … also returned a blocked PAT for two points against the Monarchs … picked off his lone pass of the year against North Texas (Oct. 29) … became the first true freshman in program history to serve as a game captain at Rice (Oct. 15).
Prior To UTSA
Played cornerback and wide receiver at the prep level … earned all-state honors from the Tennessee Sports Writers Association as a senior after helping his team to a 12-win season and the District 8-4A Championship … also earned first-team All-Region 8-4A honors at both wide receiver and cornerback that season … rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns and caught 30 passes for 408 yards and another half dozen scores in 2015 … garnered second-team all-district laurels as a junior after hauling in 17 receptions for 308 yards and a pair of touchdowns and adding 23 tackles and three interceptions … high school teammate of former UTSA defensive end Eric Banks … coached by Marcus Wimberly … also a member of the basketball team.
