Played in all 12 contests, starting four … also saw action on special teams … blocked for an offense that averaged 29.2 points, 161.8 rushing yards and 213.6 passing yards per contest … team featured a pair of 800-yard rushers who combined to score 17 touchdowns.
Sophomore (2015)
Started all 12 games … recorded 46 knockdown blocks, including a career-high seven in the season opener at #22 Arizona (Sept. 3) and later against Old Dominion (Nov. 7) … graded out at 93 percent in his team-leading 862 snaps … helped pave the way for UTSA’s first 1,000 yard rusher (Jarveon Williams/1,042 yards).
Freshman (2014)
Saw action in the first 11 games of the year, primarily on special teams … did not play in the season finale against North Texas (Nov. 29) due to injury … did not miss an assignment in his seven snaps of action … redshirted in 2013.
Prior To UTSA
Saw action at tight end before making the move to the interior line prior to his junior campaign … earned first-team Class 4A all-state and first-team All-Central Texas (Austin American-Statesman) honors and was the District 27-4A Most Valuable Lineman as a senior … recorded 114 pancake blocks, did not allow a sack and helped lead the offense to 38 points and 437 total yards per game that season … an all-district choice his final two seasons … coached by Blake Feldt.

Born Feb. 7, 1995 … son of Raena and Jared LaFont … graduated last December with a degree in psychology and currently is taking graduate courses in education-curriculum & instruction.
