Junior (2014)
Appeared in all 12 contests, including six starts … drew starting assignments in each of the first five games and again against UTEP (Oct. 25) … registered 11 knockdown blocks, including a season-high four at Oklahoma State (Sept. 13) … also graded out at 73 percent in his 437 snaps of action.
Sophomore (2013)
Played in 11 games and started the final nine at guard … accumulated 44 knockdown blocks, including a career-high eight in the program’s inaugural Conference USA contest at UTEP (Sept. 21) … graded out at 79 percent … a key part of an offensive line that did not commit a holding penalty during the season … helped the offense average 25.6 points, 417.8 total yards (175.4 rush/242.4 pass), 21.9 first downs and 32:24 possession time per outing.
Freshman (2012)
Saw limited action in two games and graded out at 77 percent … played the final 10 snaps at Georgia State (Sept. 15) and 38 more against Northwestern Oklahoma State (Sept. 22) … graduated from high school early and began attending classes at UTSA in the spring.
Prior To UTSA
Earned 2011 all-area honors from the San Antonio Express-News and also was a second-team All-District 27-4A selection at both center and defensive line as a senior … garnered second-team all-district laurels on offense as a junior … helped lead team to the playoffs in each of his final two seasons … coached by Matt Elliott.
