Junior (2013)
Saw action in all 12 games, including starts in the opening 10 tilts of the campaign … was slowed with an injury at the end of the season … collected 61 tackles (23 solos/38 assists), including 1.5 behind the line of scrimmage … racked up a career-high 10 stops at Arizona (Sept. 14) … had seven tackles, one of which was for loss, the following week in the program’s inaugural Conference USA contest at UTEP (Sept. 21) … also had seven stops at Marshall (Oct. 5) … had three other outings with a half dozen tackles, all of which came at home (#13 Oklahoma State/UAB/Tulane).
Sophomore (2012)
Played in all 12 contests in his first action since his senior year of high school in 2009 … racked up 34 tackles (19 solos/15 assists), returned an interception 30 yards at Georgia State (Sept. 15), broke up a pair of passes and recovered a fumble against Utah State (Oct. 27) … recorded a season-high eight stops at #22 Louisiana Tech (Nov. 3).
Prior To UTSA
Spent the 2010-11 seasons at Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College but did not play … sat out the 2010 campaign as a redshirt … was ranked as a top-10 safety in Central Florida by the Orlando Sentinel his final two prep seasons … also an all-state track performer who clocked a 48-second quarter mile.
