A two-year starter who completed 377-of-608 passes (62 percent) for 5,019 yards and 38 touchdowns during his prep career … also rushed for 807 yards and 15 scores on 97 carries (8.3 avg.) … earned first-team Class 7A Central all-state accolades, was runner-up for Arkansas’ Gatorade Player of the Year award and also was an Arkansas Player of the Year finalist as a senior … passed for 2,868 yards and 24 touchdowns and added 407 yards and seven scores on the ground … an all-conference selection in 2010 after throwing for 2,151 yards and 14 TDs … also rushed for 400 yards with eight scores that season.
