Junior (2013)
Appeared in the first two games of the season at New Mexico (Aug. 31) and in the home opener against #13 Oklahoma State (Sept. 7) … punted twice against the Cowboys for 78 yards (39.0 avg.), including a 45-yarder that resulted in a fair catch.
Sophomore (2012)
Played in all 12 contests … kicked off 29 times and recorded eight touchbacks, including a program-record seven at Idaho (Nov. 19) … averaged 33.7 yards on his 28 punts and six resulted in fair catches and five landed inside the 20-yard line … booted a school-record 55-yarder against Texas A&M-Commerce (Sept. 8) and that came on the heels of a 53-yarder in the season opener at South Alabama (Sept. 1).
Freshman (2011)
Appeared in the first six games before sustaining a season-ending injury … averaged 35.1 yards on his 30 punts … 10 landed inside the 20-yard line and six resulted in fair catches … had two punts of 50 or more yards, including a career-long 52-yarder against Bacone (Sept. 24) … also kicked off nine times.
Prior To UTSA
Earned 2010 second-team Class 3A all-state, first-team San Antonio Express-News all-area and unanimous All-District 28-3A honors … connected on 11-of-13 field goals with a long of 42 yards as a senior … also averaged 38.3 yards on 42 punts with a long of 53 and half of his 42 kickoffs were touchbacks … earned all-area and all-district accolades as a junior after converting 19-of-22 PATs and 5-of-7 FGs, including two from 46 yards … also averaged 40 yards per punt in 2009 … garnered 2010 first-team academic all-state honors … coached by Tab Dumont.
