Appeared in 11 contests, including starts in nine of the final 10 tilts … did not play in the season opener at New Mexico (Aug. 31) … third on the squad with 49 pancakes, including a season-high eight against Rice (Oct. 12) and again in the season finale against Louisiana Tech (Nov. 30) … graded out at 79 percent … a key part of an offensive line that did not commit a holding penalty during the season … helped the offense average 25.6 points, 417.8 total yards (175.4 rush/242.4 pass), 21.9 first downs and 32:24 possession time per contest.
Sophomore (2012)
Started all 12 games (7 at guard/5 at tackle) … racked up a team-leading 46 knockdown blocks, including a career-best nine at Georgia State (Sept. 15) … graded out at 77 percent for an offense that averaged 31.2 points, 390.2 total yards (159.2 rush/231.0 pass) and 31:45 possession time per outing … integral part of an offensive line that surrendered just seven sacks, which was tied for the second-lowest total in the nation.
