Walk-on who earned honorable mention All-Conference USA laurels and also was named to the league’s All-Freshman Team … appeared in 11 games (five starts) in his first campaign … had 34 tackles (18 solos/16 assists), a team-leading five sacks, four pass breakups and a fumble recovery … registered a pair of sacks against #13 Oklahoma State (Sept. 7) and added two more at Marshall (Oct. 5) … also recorded a season-high five stops, a pass breakup and his lone fumble recovery of the year against the Thundering Herd … redshirted in 2012.

A three-time all-area honoree … earned second-team All-District 25-5A honors and tabbed the Matadors’ Defensive MVP as a senior after recording 109 tackles, four sacks, three forced fumbles, nine pass breakups and a blocked field goal as a senior … coached by Wayne Walker.
