Junior (2013)
Played in 11 games and started against Rice (Oct. 12) … made 33 tackles (9 solos/24 assists) and 1.5 TFLs … had a season-high nine stops against Houston (Sept. 28) … added a half dozen tackles, including one behind the line of scrimmage, the following week at Marshall (Oct. 5).
Sophomore (2012)
Played in all 12 games and drew starts in the opening four contests of the year … accumulated 64 tackles (34 solos/30 assists), including three for loss and a sack, and forced a fumble against Northwestern Oklahoma State (Sept. 22) … recorded career highs of 11 stops and 1.5 TFLs, including one sack, in the home opener against Texas A&M-Commerce (Sept. 8) … added eight tackles at #22 Louisiana Tech (Nov. 3).
Freshman (2011)
Saw action in nine games … collected nine tackles (2 solos/7 assists), 1.5 TFLs and a sack against Bacone (Sept. 24) … registered a pair of stops in four of his outings.
Prior To UTSA
Helped lead prep squad to 38 victories from 2008-10 … earned first-team All-District 7-5A honors as a senior after recording 132 tackles, 14 QB hurries, four sacks, a fumble recovery and an interception from the defensive end spot … team advanced to Class 5A Division II State Championship Game (lost to Cibolo Steele, 24-21) and finished the year with a 13-3 record … a first-team All-District 5-4A selection at linebacker as a junior … helped lead club to berths in the 2009 Class 4A and 2008 Class 5A Division I state semifinals … coached by John Walsh.
