Played in all 12 tilts … caught 13 passes for 101 yards (7.8 avg.), including a season-long of 16 yards against UAB (Oct. 26) … had three games with two receptions, including a two-catch, 25-yard effort against the Blazers … also returned four kickoffs for 97 yards (24.2 avg.) … set career bests with three kickoff returns for 84 yards (28.0 avg.), including a career-long 35-yarder, against Houston (Sept. 28).
Sophomore (2012)
Appeared in all 12 games … caught 10 passes for 81 yards, rushed once for five yards and returned one kickoff for 30 yards … had career highs of three receptions for 33 yards against McNeese State (Nov. 10).
Freshman (2011)
Played in all 10 tilts and drew a start at McNeese State (Nov. 12) … recorded eight receptions for 86 yards and hauled in a 14-yard touchdown pass against Minot State (Nov. 19) … returned one kickoff for 22 yards against McMurry (Sept. 10) … caught a pair of passes against Bacone (Sept. 24) and Minot State.
Prior To UTSA
Posted a 30-9 record as a prep starting quarterback … earned 2010 honorable mention Class 4A all-state and Austin American-Statesman second-team All-Centex accolades … also was tabbed Bastrop County’s Most Valuable Player his final two seasons … named District 16-4A MVP as a senior after racking up a school-record 5,158 yards of total offense to go along with 57 total touchdowns … passed for 3,740 yards and 38 TDs (both program records) and added another 1,418 yards on the ground with 19 scores … set school career records for total offense (10,257 yards) and passing yards (7,674) … completed 154-of-289 passes for 2,314 yards and 22 TDs as a junior en route to being named the District 25-5A MVP … also compiled 715 rushing yards and five TDs … named the District 25-5A Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore … connected on 112-of-211 attempts for 1,620 yards and a dozen scores … also picked up 450 yards and five TDs on the ground that season … coached by Gerald Perry.
