Jeremiah Moeller is in his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the offense, where he works with the offensive linemen and assists the offensive staff. He is responsible for breaking down and organizing opponents’ film, instructing the scout team, generating practice schedules and scripts and assisting with the recruiting process.
A three-year letterwinner for the Roadrunners, Moeller played in all 34 games with 20 starts. The team’s primary blocking tight end, he also caught 21 passes for 239 yards.
As a senior in 2013, Moeller helped UTSA to a 7-5 overall record and a second-place finish in the West Division of Conference USA with a 6-2 mark. A team captain, he hauled in nine passes for 62 yards. As a junior, Moeller had 10 receptions for 145 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown against Texas State. He also registered four special teams tackles.
A native of New Braunfels, Moeller was a two-time All-District 27-4A performer at defensive back his final two seasons at Canyon High School. He recorded 48 tackles and three interceptions as a junior and played on both sides of the ball in his final campaign.
Moeller earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from UTSA in May 2014.
