Junior (2013)
Appeared in all 12 games and started nine of those contests … recorded career highs of 36 tackles (19 solos/17 assists) and nine pass breakups in addition to recovering a pair of fumbles and intercepting a pass against UAB (Oct. 26) … also posted a career-best six stops against the Blazers.
Sophomore (2012)
Played in all 12 games with five starts … registered 17 tackles (9 solos/8 solos), a pair of interceptions and a total of three pass breakups … picks came at Georgia State (Sept. 15) and against McNeese State (Nov. 10) … racked up a career-high four stops against the Cowboys.
Freshman (2011)
Saw action in all 10 contests and started the first two games … recorded three tackles (2 solos/1 assist) and recovered a fumble in his first campaign … had stops against Northeastern State (Sept. 3), McMurry (Sept. 10) and UC Davis (Oct. 15) … his fumble recovery in the season opener was the first in program history … redshirted in 2010.
Prior To UTSA
Three-time all-district performer … racked up 44 tackles, three interceptions, eight pass breakups and three forced fumbles as a senior despite missing three games due to injury … named second-team All-District 26-5A as a junior after posting 102 stops and three picks … registered more than 230 tackles, nine INTs and 11 forced fumbles during his career … coached by Neal LaHue … also a four-time regional qualifier in track & field.
