Appeared in all 12 games … rushed 19 times for 78 yards (4.1 avg.) and added a pair of receptions for 16 yards … also saw action on special teams.
Sophomore (2011)
Played in all 10 contests … carried the ball 10 times for 27 yards and added seven catches for 79 yards, including a 22-yard touchdown against McMurry (Sept. 10) … caught two passes for 46 yards in that contest and hauled in three more for 22 in the season opener against Northeastern State (Sept. 3) … added 17 rushing yards against Bacone (Sept. 24) … redshirted in 2010, as UTSA only practiced that fall.
Prior To UTSA
Saw action in seven games on special teams in 2009 as a freshman at Texas A&M-Commerce … collected three unassisted tackles that year … a two-year prep standout … rushed for 1,066 yards on 181 carries as a senior and was named team’s Most Valuable Player … also presented with the National Football Foundation’s and College Football Hall of Fame’s Scholar-Athlete Award as a senior … ran for more than 1,200 yards and 23 touchdowns as a junior.
