Named to the 2014 Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Top 300 list … earned honorable mention all-state accolades, tabbed the District 24-5A Utility Most Valuable Player and was a first-team all-district selection at both defensive back and punter as a senior … also a Houston Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Year finalist that season after registering 68 tackles, including five for loss, and seven interceptions … earned first-team All-District 24-5A honors as a junior after recording 72 tackles, 10 TFL and an interception … coached by Shaun McDowell … garnered second-team All-District 21-3A laurels at both defensive back and wide receiver as a sophomore at Hardin-Jefferson High School.
