Freshman (2021): Played in 10 games with eight starts … hit .192 with two homers and five RBI … in C-USA play, hit .188 (3-for-16) with a homer and two RBI … made five starts in left, two in right and one as the DH … went 2-for-4 with three RBI, a homer and a walk in his collegiate debut vs. UT Arlington on March 7 … had a homer at No. 21 Charlotte … drove in a run at No. 14 LA Tech. Summer: Hit .244 (10-for-41) with a double and six RBI in the TCL … had a 3-15 walk-strikeout ratio and stole three bases … worked in eight games in relief with an 0-1 record and a 4.29 ERA … tossed 14.2 innings, allowing nine hits and 11 walks, striking out 16 … worked a summer-high 3.1 shutout innings on July 27 vs. San Antonio, allowing just a hit … worked three innings on June 25 … had a three-hit, three-RBI game on June 17.

Prior to UTSA: A four-year letterwinner at Douglas MacArthur High School, earned all-state honors after his junior campaign, while garnering all-district accolades each of his first three seasons ... he hit .324 or higher in each of his three-plus seasons, including a .400 batting average in 2019, posting career-best with five home runs and 33 RBI ...  on the mound, posted an 11-9 record, striking out 124 in 118.1 innings of work ... he was 2-1, with a 1.43 ERA, allowing just six hits while fanning 21 in 14.2 innings before his senior season was canceled ... the 21 strikeouts placed him ahead of his career-best pace of 40 punch-outs in 42.0 innings during his junior year ... was a member of the National Honor Society and garnered Academic All-District honors in 2019.
