Posted 17 appearances on the mound with 14 starts … registered a 4-4 mark with 3.99 ERA in 67.2 innings … struck out 37 batters and walked 27 … recorded three quality starts, including back-to-back appearances at the end of the season … worked six innings, scattered six hits, allowed three runs (two earned) with seven strikeouts in a loss at Marshall on March 19 … pitched seven innings and allowed three runs against Southern Miss on May 18 … six days later, in the Conference USA Tournament, he limited the Golden Eagles to two runs over 7.2 innings to pick up the win … hurled a season-high 132 pitches and struck out four in his final appearance of the year.

Pitched two seasons at Cisco Junior College under the direction of David White ... earned all-conference and all-region honors ... tossed 9.0 innings and allowed two hits while striking out 12 against Vernon ... was a three-sport athlete at Assumption Catholic School – baseball, basketball and football ... earned four letters in each of the three sports and was named team MVP in football.
