In first season at UTSA, Brannon made nine appearances, including a pair of starts … finished the year with a 4.15 ERA through 17.1 innings of work … registered 16 strikeouts and allowed eight run on 16 hits … pitched five innings in relief against Lamar (4/30) and struck out four batters, which both were season-highs … in first start of the year, worked 4.1 innings against East Carolina (5/17) and struck out three and allowed one run on five hits.

Prior To UTSA
Spent the 2011-12 seasons under head coach Craig McMurtry … a 2012 second-team All-Region V North Conference selection … posted an 8-3 record with a 1.54 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 70.1 innings … led rotation by allowing only 12 earned runs … saw action in two games as a freshman and hurled one scoreless inning with a pair of strikeouts … also added a double and RBI in three at-bats in 2011 … was a three-year prep starter under head coach C.J. Wilk … named first-team All-District 12-5A at first base and collected academic all-district honors as a senior … garnered second-team All-District 12-5A honors as an outfielder a year prior.
