Graduate (2022): Reunited with Coach Pat Hallmark for a graduate campaign after a four-year career at in-city school UIW … immediately became the Roadrunners’ first baseman when he stepped on campus … hit .322 with an OBP of .434 and a slugging percentage of .541 … had the second most home runs (13) and RBI (53) on the squad … had 66 hits and a team-high 40 walks drawn … tied the school record for most walks drawn in a single game with four against HBU (3/15) had a team high six sacrifice flies, the third most in C-USA … had a two-HR day at FAU (3/26) … really turned it on late in the year where he had a great C-USA tournament, being named to the tournament team … in five games against top 15 school Southern Miss – who had a top five pitching staff in the country – Flores went 13-19 with three HR, five walks, five runs and nine RBI.
Prior to UTSA
UIW (2018-21): Was a four year contributor for UIW … his senior season he was a preseason All-SLC selection … was fourth on the team with a .282 batting average … posted 44 hits, eight doubles and three home runs … set a UIW record for most career double plays turned with 92.
High School: Played at North Shore High School…earned All-District honors as a sophomore in 2017 and 2nd team All-State honors in 2016…a Corpus Christi Hooks Preseason All-Star (2017)…All-South Texas (2016) and All-District Newcomer of the Year (2015)…member of the Academic Honor Roll.
Personal: The son of Rudy Flores and Donna Zamora, and has three siblings, Mathew, Briana, and Victoria… studying Rehabilitative Science Pre-Physical Therapy and minoring in Psychology…born June 24, 1999.
