Received the call from the bullpen 10 times in first season at UTSA and posted a 12.71 ERA … worked 5.2 innings … went 1.1 innings at Texas (2/17) and gave up a season-high four runs, two of which are earned … fanned a season-high three against Incarnate Word (2/24).
Prior To UTSA
Logged 69.1 innings as a sophomore and led the team with 87 strikeouts … made 13 appearances, including 11 starts, and posted a 5-5 record with four complete games … threw a no-hitter against Odessa (Feb. 28), while collecting eight strikeouts … tossed 49.2 innings in 10 appearances as a freshman and struck out 40 batters … prep honors included All-South Plains, all-city and all-district, as well as 2011 District Pitcher of the Year.
