Made 13 relief appearances in his first season as a Roadrunner … was 0-2 with a 6.62 ERA and posted 12 strikeouts in 17.2 innings … did not allow an earned run in six of his outings … struck out the side in his only inning of work at Texas State (5/11).
Prior To UTSA
Spent two years as the closer for head coach Harvey McIntyre … as a sophomore, made 13 appearances with an 0-2 record and five saves … he struck out 14 batters in 19.2 innings … as a freshman, he appeared in 14 games and registered a 3-2 record with five saves … he also posted 23 strikeouts and a 2.74 ERA in 23 innings of work … three-year prep letterwinner and two-year starter under head coach Paul Garcia-Rameau … an all-district first baseman.
