Junior (2023): Appeared in 21 games, collecting a 5-1 record… struck out 36 batters in 47.2 innings pitched… earned his first win in a four-inning outing in which he struck out five batters on Feb. 18 at Tarleton… had his best outing on Feb. 26 against Saint Mary’s (CA), allowing no runs on three hits and striking out five in 5.0 IP.
Sophomore (2022): Began the season as a middle-reliever and later transitioned into a weekend starter … Pitched 42.2 innings, the second most on the team, allowing 27 runs on 47 hits while walking 24 and punching out 41 … made his season debut at Houston Baptist (3/15) where he allowed two hits over three scoreless innings, helping UTSA to a road win and picking up his second career win … made his first career start at UIW (3/29) … saw his innings pitched expand from roughly two innings per game to five per game, as he became the Friday starter for the last third of the season … recorded a career high seven strikeouts at Middle Tennessee (4/29) … put forth a Herculean effort in the C-USA tournament against No. 14 Southern Miss (5/28), as he threw eight innings of relief, allowing just two runs and striking out four, leading UTSA to an 11-2 win and a trip to the C-USA championship game while picking up his fourth win of the year.
Freshman (2021): Posted a 1-2 record and a 5.16 ERA … worked 22.2 innings, allowing 22 hits and 14 walks, striking out 23 … went 0-1 with a 6.59 ERA in seven relief games, tossing 13.2 innings, allowing seven walks and striking out 11 … allowed six of 12 inherited runners to score … worked a shutout inning with two strikeouts in his collegiate debut at Sam Houston … worked a shutout inning vs. No. 9 TCU … tossed two innings with two runs allowed at No. 15 LSU … worked 2.2 shutout innings at TAMU-CC, fanning a career-high six … worked a stellar five shutout innings at No. 21 Charlotte to help UTSA claim a win, allowing only two hits and two walks. Summer: Had a strong summer in the California Collegiate League … worked in eight games with four starts, earning a 2-0 record and a 3.22 ERA, saving one game … tossed 30.2 innings, allowing only 27 hits and six walks, striking out 37 … finished the summer strong with at least five-inning starts in each of his final three outings … worked six one-run innings with eight strikeouts in his finale on July 30 … tossed a summer-high seven shutout innings with nine strikeouts over four hits allowed on July 2 for his first win of the season … earned a save in his first outing of the summer, working two shutout innings with three strikeouts on June 10.
