IRVING, Texas — Officials from the American Conference and ESPN announced Monday that UTSA’s road game at Florida Atlantic on Thursday, Nov. 5, has been selected for an ESPN broadcast at 7:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. CT from Flagler Credit Union Stadium in Boca Raton.
This will mark the Roadrunners’ second appearance of the season on ESPN’s Thursday night telecast, as they defeated South Florida, 31-24, on Oct. 8 at the Alamodome on the network.
Off to a 7-1 start, the Roadrunners are riding a five-game winning streak and sit atop the league standings at 4-0 after a 42-19 road triumph over Tulane last Saturday night in New Orleans.
The Owls improved to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference after a 51-49 home victory against Rice last Saturday. Florida Atlantic will face North Texas on ESPN this Thursday, Oct. 29.
UTSA and Florida Atlantic will meet for the sixth time on Nov. 5 in a series led by the Owls, 3-2. The Roadrunners have won each of the past two meetings as members of the American Conference, 36-10, on Oct. 21, 2023, in Boca Raton and 38-24, on Oct. 19, 2024, at the Alamodome.
