SAN ANTONIO– Head UTSA women’s basketball coach Karen Aston officially announced the 2026-27 nonconference slate on Thursday, with three NCAA Tournament teams and six total postseason programs in the field.

The Roadrunners will open the campaign on Friday, Nov. 6, visiting Las Vegas, Nevada, to take on UNLV, ahead of a bout with 2026 WBIT quarterfinalist San Diego State on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Viejas Arena.
UTSA will return to the Military City for three consecutive contests in the Convocation Center, first facing UIW on Wednesday, Nov. 11, before meeting Louisiana on Monday, Nov. 16. The ‘Runners will wrap up the homestand on Saturday, Nov. 21, when they battle a North Dakota State squad that won the Summit League Regular Season Championship and earned a No. 1 seed in the 2026 WBIT.
The Roadrunners will then head to the Puerto Rico Clasico in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where they’ll face Binghamton on Thursday, Nov. 26, and Howard on Friday, Nov. 27. Binghamton made the WNIT a season ago, while Howard won the MEAC and earned a No. 14 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
UTSA will close out the nonconference schedule in the Lone Star State, first visiting a Baylor team in Waco that earned a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, Dec. 6. Another Big 12 opponent awaits in Fort Worth on Thursday, Dec. 10, as the ‘Runners take on TCU, who fell in the Elite Eight last season.
The Roadrunners then travel to San Marcos, Texas, for a Battle for I-35 against Texas State on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
Rounding things out, UTSA heads to Dallas to face SMU on Sunday, Dec. 20.
