IRVING, Texas – In the first glimpse at the 2026-27 UTSA men’s basketball schedule, the conference lineup is officially set heading into the third season under head coach Austin Claunch. Officials from the American Conference announced on Friday next season’s men's basketball scheduling matrix, revealing UTSA’s nine conference opponents coming to the Convocation Center and the nine conference road opponents on the 2026-27 schedule.

This year’s Roadrunners are scheduled for an 18-game conference campaign that spans 12 conference foes. Six are set for home-and-away matchups, while the remaining six will meet the Roadrunners one time. UTSA will host Florida Atlantic, Memphis and South Florida at home in the Convocation Center only and travel to Charlotte, UAB and Wichita State. The Roadrunners will square off twice with East Carolina, North Texas, Rice, Temple, Tulane and Tulsa.

UTSA’s non-conference schedule will be announced at a later date, along with the full American schedule, game times and broadcast networks for the complete UTSA schedule. Conference action begins Wednesday, December 30, 2026, and runs through Sunday, March 7, 2027. The 2027 American Conference Men’s Basketball Championships are moving to Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida with tournament dates to be announced at a later time as well.
