SAN ANTONIO — UTSA head men’s golf coach Matt Wernecke announced the program’s 2026-27 schedule, which features a home tournament at TPC San Antonio in February, regular-season trips to five other states and a spring season opener in Mexico.
The Roadrunners will tee off their fifth season under Wernecke on Sept. 6-8 when they travel to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate, which will be hosted by Coastal Carolina at Grande Dunes Golf Club.
UTSA will make a return trip to the East Coast on Sept. 21-22 to play in the Rod Myers Invitational at Duke University Golf Club in Durham, North Carolina.
The fall season will continue Oct. 5-6 with the West Bay Collegiate, which will be hosted by Florida Gulf Coast at West Bay Club in Estero, Florida.
UTSA will wrap up the fall on Oct. 19-20 at the Qubein Cup at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
For the third consecutive year, the Roadrunners will open the spring slate in Mexico with the Compadres Collegiate. The annual event hosted by UTRGV will be contested on Feb. 7-9 at Iberostar Playa Paraíso Golf Club in Playa del Carmen.
UTSA will return home to host the second annual Military City Collegiate presented by USAA. The Roadrunners will look to defend their team title on Feb. 21-23 at TPC San Antonio’s Canyons Course.
The Roadrunners then are scheduled for back-to-back trips to the Grand Canyon State in March. UTSA will play in the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate on March 15-16 at Tucson Country Club before heading to Litchfield Park for the Bell Bank “Pay It Forward” Collegiate on March 22-23 at Wigwam Golf Club.
UTSA will travel to Franklin, Tennessee, for the Mason Rudolph Championship on April 2-4 at Vanderbilt Legends Club before making a short trip to Bryan, Texas, for The Aggie Invitational on April 10-11 at Traditions Club.
The American Conference Championship will be held April 25-27 at Ritz-Carlton Members Club in Sarasota, Florida.
The NCAA Regional sites are slated for May 17-19. The NCAA Championship is set for May 28-June 2 at Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California.
