Roadrunners receive USTFCCCA academic accolades

NEW ORLEANS – Student-athletes from both sides of UTSA track & field have again earned individual academic accolades from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) while the Roadrunners’ teams were recognized for their academic rigor, officials from the coaching association announced. Not only did both squads receive team honors, but 16 Roadrunners garnered individual All-Academic honors.

Both men's and women's squads were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams, which requires a cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA squad list for indoor and outdoor track & field of 3.0 or higher. The women boasted a 3.51 team GPA and the men posted a 3.29 team GPA. This is the sixth consecutive season that both teams have received All-Academic honors.
