GILBERT, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association officially announced the ITA Scholar-Athletes on Monday, with sophomore Ben Chetewy Ungar, freshman Timeo Bretin, classmate Yonatan Sagiv and sophomore Oskar Grzegorzewski all being recognized.
It was the eighth consecutive year that a member of the UTSA men’s tennis team was recognized, and Chetewy Ungar accomplished the feat in back-to-back seasons. He also earned his second academic award of the season after previously making the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District squad. Bretin, Grzegorzewski and Sagiv were all first-time honorees.
As a team, UTSA was selected for All-Academic Team honors for the fourth consecutive season and the fifth time in the past six years.
