SAN ANTONIO — UTSA head women’s golf coach Summer Batiste announced that the program has added Lydia Lin to the 2026 signing class. The transfer from Northern Arizona will join the Roadrunners beginning with the 2026-27 season.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Lydia in San Antonio,” Batiste said. “She brings a wealth of tournament experience and will make an immediate impact on the course. Lydia is a great addition to what we are building at UTSA.”
The 2026 signing class also includes Miah Wanserski and Yiwei Zhao, who both signed last November.

Played in five tournaments in 2025-26 as a true freshman at Northern Arizona … tied for 11th at the Red Rocks Invitational after carding a 2-over-par 218 (72-72-74) … fired a 1-over 217 (72-72-73) to grab a share of 23rd at the PING ASU Invitational … tied for 16th with a 220 (75-73-72) at the Big Sky Championships … attended Windermere Preparatory School in Florida before continuing her studies at Orion International Academy in California … placed fifth in the third leg of the 2025 Super Lychee National Amateur Golf Future tour … finished ninth in the fifth installment of the CLPGQ Beijing Peal Series … won consecutive junior titles at the Optimist International Junior in 2022 and 2023 … claimed individual titles at the Florida Junior Tour Okeeheelee Open and the 64th Florida Girls Junior in 2023.
