CLEBURNE, Texas – On Wednesday, REV Entertainment released the full field for the 2027 College Baseball Series. UTSA is featured in the group alongside Tarleton State, UT Arlington and Washington State. Head Coach Pat Hallmark’s club will head to La Moderna Field for a three-day showdown from March 5-7. The 1,750-seat home of the Cleburne Railroaders will host the event for the third consecutive year, first doing so with Oklahoma State and Abilene Christian in 2025.
Head Coach Pat Hallmark, on the field: “We’re excited to get an opportunity against multiple quality opponents early in the season. It’s a tournament full of well-coached programs that have seen a lot of postseason success recently. It should be a great weekend of baseball all around.”
Both Washington State and Tarleton State earned NCAA Regional appearances in 2026. A year prior, UTSA made a run to its first-ever Super Regional, upsetting No. 2 Texas in Austin along the way. The Roadrunners have also met UT Arlington 10 times across the past three campaigns, setting up another in-state clash next March.
On Friday, June 26th at 9 a.m. CT, home plate reserved tickets to the 2027 College Baseball Series can be purchased here. General admission and single-game tickets will be made available this fall following the release of the full tournament schedule.
In 2026, the Cleburne portion of the College Baseball Series featured four programs competing over a three-day stretch from Feb. 27 through March 1. Texas State came away with the tournament championship, besting a field consisting of ACU, Creighton and Tarleton State in addition to the Bobcats.
This past spring, UTSA clinched its second consecutive American Conference regular-season championship at 17-10, earning the league’s top postseason seed. The ‘Runners capped off their year at 38-20 overall, highlighted by a 21-7 mark at home.
