The Roadrunners visit Memphis for a three-game set, with first pitch set for Friday night at 6 p.m. Head Coach Pat Hallmark’s squad looks to secure its 19th straight American Conference series victory and build on a two-game lead in the league standings. Meanwhile, the Tigers hope to build on a three-game winning streak and secure a spot in the postseason.

The Roadrunners fell down 4-0 in the first inning before a pair of home runs put them in front 7-4 during the third frame. Texas clawed its way back to an 8-7 hole before mashing an eighth-inning grand slam. The blast gave the hosts the lead for good, solidifying a final score of 11-8 in favor of the Longhorns.

The ‘Runners hold a two and three-game lead over East Carolina (13-8) and UAB (12-9), respectively. THE WONDER FROM DOWN UNDER
On Monday, Conor Myles was named to the American Conference Player of the Week Honorable Mention list. The Australian picked up his fourth such distinction this season. On Saturday against WSU, Myles tossed a season-high 7.0 innings with eight punchouts, no free bases and just one run. He dropped his season ERA to 2.43 and improved to 8-1.
With another victory, Myles maintained a perfect 6-0 mark in league play. The Australian dipped his season ERA to 2.43, including a remarkable 1.79 tally in American action. Over his last 21.0 innings, just one earned run has come around to score.
JUST KEEP WINNING
In all seven American sets this season, UTSA has come away victorious. The ‘Runners have won 18 straight league series, last falling to Wichita State in 2024 (1-2). Boasting a 15-6 record in American play, the squad recently climbed out of a three-way tie atop the league standings. The Navy & Orange hold a two and three-game lead over East Carolina (13-8) and UAB (12-9), respectively.
