SAN ANTONIO — UTSA Athletics and Playfly Sports/UTSA Sports Properties announced that Little Woodrow’s Braun will host the official watch party for the American Conference Baseball Championship Game on Sunday, May 24.
UTSA fans are invited out to Little Woodrow’s Braun (9840 W Loop 1604 N) to cheer on the Roadrunners as they play in the tournament title game against the winner of Saturday’s final contest between East Carolina and either UAB or Wichita State, who are playing an elimination game this afternoon.
Doors will open at 10:45 a.m. and the ESPNEWS broadcast is slated to start at 11 a.m.
The top-seeded Roadrunners secured a spot in the championship game after defeating No 2 seed East Carolina 4-2 on Saturday in a semifinal matchup. UTSA opened the tournament with a 4-0 shutout of Memphis on Friday.
Under the direction of head coach Pat Hallmark, UTSA captured its second straight American Conference Regular Season Championship last weekend. The Roadrunners ran their record to 38-19 with Saturday’s triumph over the Pirates to earn their first conference tournament title game appearance since 2022.
