Friday’s Game Versus Wichita State Postponed

SAN ANTONIO – This morning, UTSA Baseball announced the postponement of Friday’s game against Wichita State. Round one of the three-game series will not be played on Friday due to inclement weather in the area affecting playing conditions. The Roadrunners and Shockers will start the series no earlier than 2 p.m. CT on Saturday, May 2.

A decision on the entire weekend schedule has not been finalized at this time. On Saturday, the two sides will agree on when to fit in their three games, with an anticipated doubleheader coming on either Saturday or Sunday.

Both UTSA and Wichita State enter the weekend among the American Conference’s top four. The hosts have yet to lose a league series at 12-6, sitting amid a three-way tie for first alongside East Carolina and UAB. The Shockers enter two games back at 10-8, coming in with sole possession of fourth place as the last conference member above .500 in American play.

All the action from Roadrunner Field will be streamed live on ESPN+ and available to follow via utsa.statbroadcast.com. Further updates will be provided as they become available at goutsa.com and on all social media platforms (@UTSABSB on Twitter/X and Instagram | UTSA Baseball on Facebook).
