SAN ANTONIO—The UTSA softball team will update the 2026 schedule, now hosting No. 2 Texas Tech at Roadrunner Field on Tuesday, April 14. Fans wishing to attend may purchase tickets at www.goutsa.com/sbtickets, with general admission seats starting at $28 and standing-room-only tickets available for $13. Additionally, the game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
The Roadrunners will test their mettle against the No. 2 team in the country, with Texas Tech representing the fourth ranked opponent to travel to Roadrunner Field in 2026, and the third top 10 opponent. It will be the 30th meeting between the ‘Runners and Red Raiders, and the first since 2022. UTSA last hosted Texas Tech on May 3, 2017, when it swept a doubleheader, taking a 3-2 extra-innings win in game one and a 6-3 victory in game two. The Roadrunners are 12-17 all-time against the Red Raiders, including a 7-7 mark at home.
