Breigan earns third consecutive American Indoor Most Outstanding Performance Award

IRVING, Texas – For the third consecutive indoor season, UTSA track & field junior long jumper Ida Breigan has been selected for the 2026 American Indoor Track & Field Women’s Field Most Outstanding Performance award, officials from the conference office announced Wednesday.

Breigan (Fredrikstad, Norway) has now won the indoor award in each year of her career and collected the three-peat for conference titles in the long jump last weekend at the Birmingham Crossplex via her 6.52m (21-4.75) leap at the American Conference Indoor Championships.

The annual awards are presented to student-athletes who recorded the highest-ranking marks on the NCAA's Division I performance list during last week's American Indoor Track & Field Championships and Breigan’s championships measurement came in at ninth in the NCAA DI standings.
