The visiting pitchers shone in Friday’s 4-1 win, allowing just four Owl hits. After a close 7-6 defeat on Saturday, UTSA crushed FAU on Sunday, mashing 17 hits en route to a seven-inning, 18-8 victory.
Jacob Silva excelled with six RBIs over the series, including three in the finale. On Sunday, the catcher posted four hits in as many at-bats, including his first collegiate home run. The San Antonio native helped guide his squad to its 12th straight regular-season conference series win, extending a streak that dates back to 2024.

MORE HARDWARE FOR 12
Drew Detlefsen was named American Conference Player of the Week on Monday. The senior racked up 12 hits, batting .750 with an OPS of 1.925 over four games. The left fielder notched three doubles and a home run to drive in five RBIs and score seven runs himself.
On Tuesday at Houston Christian, he became the first Roadrunner with five hits in a single game this season, going 5-for-5. Then, he followed that performance up with a 3-for-3 outing in his side's weekend-opening triumph at FAU. To close out the series win on Sunday, he went deep for the ninth time this season to expand his team lead in home runs. This season, Detlefsen ranks third among all of Division I individuals in hits (43), 10th in runs scored per game (1.48), 13th in total runs scored (34), 14th in batting average (.434) and 35th in RBIs (31).
