SAN ANTONIO – UTSA Women’s Tennis concludes its longest stretch at home of the season on Sunday. The Roadrunners are set to host Tulsa at 10:30, eyeing their ninth win in 10 tries from the UTSA Tennis Center this spring. Ki Kroll’s squad looks to win its fifth contest in its last six outings in a contest featuring two American Conference programs.

LAST TIME OUT
On Tuesday, UTSA welcomed Southern Miss for a midday clash, sweeping the Golden Eagles en route to a 4-0 victory. The hosts dropped only one set on the day, falling in a close tiebreaker on court two. Elsewhere, the ‘Runners made quick work of the visitors, not allowing a single opponent to tally four games in a set. When Aoka Nagasawa’s clash went final at 6-0, 6-2, Ki Kroll’s group secured its eighth home victory, doing so by a 4-0 score.
ABOUT THE GOLDEN HURRICANE
Tulsa is under the direction of Head Coach Dean Orford, who is amid his 21st season at the helm with the program. The Golden Hurricane went 19-9 a season ago, advancing to the American Conference Championship final. The squad came up just short at the hands of Memphis before falling to Oklahoma State in the NCAA Tournament. This year’s bunch is 8-10 overall, most recently snapping a four-match winning streak in a 7-0 defeat at Rice.
