IRVING, Texas—The American Conference releases its weekly softball honors on Monday, with UTSA freshman Arlette Hernandez garnering Pitcher of the Week honors.
Hernandez was dominant in the circle for the Roadrunners, going 2-1 with a 2.42 ERA across 17.1 innings of action. She tossed two complete games, including a shutout with 12 strikeouts on the week.
She represents the first Roadrunner to claim an award on the season, and the first since teammate Ava Eldridge accomplished the feat on April 28, 2025.
