UTSA also competed at UT Golf Club in the 2018 NCAA Austin Regional, taking 12th place for what was the program’s highest postseason finish in the old format that included 18 teams.
The Roadrunners are coming off an eighth-place finish at the Lady Luck Invitational two weeks ago in Las Vegas. Rios tied for 23rd with a 9-over-par 225 to help UTSA end up ahead of a pair of ranked teams in No. 19 Baylor and 44th-ranked Texas Tech.
Rios paces UTSA with a 73.81 stroke average through 21 rounds this season. The Coppell, Texas, native has logged seven par-or-better scorecards and four top-30 finishes, including a tie for third with a 1-under 215 at the Red Raider Invitational last fall.
Abonce ranks second on the squad with a 73.86 scoring average. The senior from Mexico also owns seven par-or-better rounds including a pair of sub-70 scores, both of which were registered as part of an 8-under 208 to help her earn a share of fourth place at the Sam Golden Invitational last September.
Bisgrove boasts the third-best average on the team with a 75.58 mark. The sophomore from Canada has turned in five par-or-better scorecards including a pair of 3-under 69s, while her top 54-hole total is a 4-under 212 posted at the Sam Golden Invitational.
Schuldt totes a 75.67 stroke average in 21 rounds during her true freshman campaign. A native of Germany, she carries five par-or-better scores highlighted by a 3-under 69 in the final round of the Chevron Collegiate last month. Her best finish is a tie for 15th at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate behind an even-par 216 (70-70-76).
Bastarrica has appeared in four tournaments and owns a 76.42 average. The junior from Spain recorded her top finish of 34th at the Lady Luck Invitational and he best 54-hole score was a 225 (74-78-73) posted at the Chevron Collegiate.
