UTSA announces 20 additions to 2026 signing class

SAN ANTONIO —UTSA head football coach Jeff Traylor announced 20 additions to the 2026 signing class on National Signing Day, pushing the total number of signees to 39.

The 20 new signees are Collins Acheampong, Jeremiah Bailey, Elijah Baldwin, Miles Campbell, Drenon Fite III, Mykha Green, Jarrett Henry, Brandon High Jr., Ibrahim Kebe, James Madison II, Eze Osondu, Nate Robinson Jr., Joel Rogers, Jusiah Sampleton, MJ Senegal, Eddy Smith, Dylan Spencer, Derek Straughn, TJ West and Brandon Young Jr.

A total of 19 inked with the Roadrunners in December. That group includes Brandon Brown, Archie Chambers, Asaad Chapman, Kevin Davis, Jarvse “Duece” Dickerson, Chris Dupree, Josiah Evans, Maguire Gasperson, Aden Hall, Prince Hall, William Hodges, Trysten Laughlin, Jacob Lopez-Veasey, Braeden Lott, Cael Meisman, Jamarri Vinson, Sekope Wallace, Zavier Walton and Payton Williams.

Of the total class of 39, 24 are from the state of Texas, including five from San Antonio. There also are eight from the Greater Houston area, four from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, three out of Central Texas, two from East Texas and one each from the Brazos Valley and Coastal Bend.

There are 15 out-of-state signees who are coming from the states of Alabama, California (2), Florida, Georgia, Louisiana (2), Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee and Utah, while one is a native of Ghana.

Twenty of the newcomers are projected to play on the defensive side of the ball, 18 are pegged for the offense and one is a specialist.

Of the 39 signees, 19 are transferring directly from a four-year institution, 14 are coming from the high school ranks and six are JUCO transfers.

A total of 30 of the 39 signees are enrolled at UTSA for the spring semester.
