The Roadrunners were the host school for the Valero Texas Collegiate each of the past two seasons on the Oaks Course and for the Cabo Collegiate in 2021 when it was moved here due to COVID-19 protocols. UTSA also teed off the fall season with the Lone Star Invitational in 2018, 2019 and 2021, capturing the team title in 2018 and 2021.

The Roadrunners are coming off a third-place finish at the Compadres Collegiate on Feb. 1-3 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Hong tied for third with an even-par 216 (70-75-71), while Martinez grabbed a share of seventh with a 221 (75-75-71).

Hong paces UTSA with a 72.0 stroke average through 15 rounds of his true freshman campaign. The Guadalajara, Mexico, native has turned in nine par-or-better scorecards and owns a pair of top-10 finishes, as he tied for ninth with a 7-under 209 (70-70-69) at the season-opening Argent Financial Classic.

Vargas totes the second-best average on the team with a 73.33 mark in a dozen rounds. The senior from Lubbock has registered five par-or-better rounds and logged his top finish of the season at the Trinity Forest Invitational last October, tying for 31st with a 1-under 215 (70-72-73).

Solorza has posted a 75.92 scoring average through 12 rounds this season. The redshirt freshman from Guadalajara logged his top finish with a tie for 19th at the Compadres Collegiate.

Martinez, a sophomore from Houston, made his season debut earlier this month after recording a 74.33 stroke average and one top 10 as a freshman in 2024-25.

Acharya made his UTSA debut at the Compadres Collegiate earlier this month, tying for 25th with a 230 (79-78-73).
