Roadrunners to visit Shockers in Wichita

SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA women's basketball team is headed for Wichita, Kansas, where a Saturday bout against Wichita State awaits inside Koch Arena at 1 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+, and Neal Raphael will deliver all the action on the radio in the greater San Antonio area on The Bull 93.3 FM and worldwide on the iHeartRadio app. Live stats for the contest can be found at goUTSA.com/wbbstats.

The Roadrunners (12-12, 7-6 American) will look to bounce back after falling to South Florida last time out.

Udo pulled in 12 rebounds – 10 offensively – with 15 points against the Bulls, becoming the fourth squad member to record double-digit offensive rebounds and the first since Tesha Smith set the program record with 12 in 2017. Also performing well, senior Ereauna Hardaway scored 17 points with eight assists and three steals, while sophomore Damara Allen and senior Cheyenne Rowe each charted 10 points and eight rebounds.

The Shockers (5-21, 2-11 American) will look to halt a five-game skid, last winning on Jan. 27 against East Carolina.

Abby Carter leads the team in scoring, with 12.0 points per game, and Jaila Harding is not far behind at 11.7. Jaida McDonald commands the glass with 5.7 rebounds per game, and defensively, Carter has swiped 59 steals, and Treasure Thompson has swatted 22 shots.
