SAN ANTONIO — UTSA head men’s golf coach Matt Wernecke announced on Friday that the program has signed Saad Malik. The Islamabad, Pakistan, native will join the Roadrunners beginning with the 2026-27 season.
“We are thrilled to add Saad to the program next fall,” Wernecke said. “He is a proven winner with a lot of tournament experience. Saad will step on campus and have the chance to impact our lineup immediately.”
Malik joins fall signees Cole Pregler (Fulshear, Texas) and Gabriel Derbez Torres (Monterrey, Mexico) in the current signing class.
